Ordering Policy

By placing an order for any goods on our Website you are offering to purchase the goods on and subject to the following terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.

 

In order to purchase meals with DC eat, you must be over 18 years of age and possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us. DC eats retain the right to refuse any order made by you.

 

When placing an order you accept that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorised user of the credit or debit card used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of your purchase. Orders must be placed by Thursday 12pm to ensure delivery of your meals.

 

All prices advertised are subject to such changes.

 

Delivery Policy

Home Delivery

Home delivery can be selected for postcodes between Caloundra and Coolum. DC eats schedule deliveries of all meals every Tuesday between 3am – 7am. The delivery fee is $9.99 per week.

 

Office Deliveries

Office deliveries are made from 8am – 10:30am. Delivery of 5+ subscriptions to the one office location incurs no delivery fee.

 

Distribution Point Pick Up

Distribution point pick-up and delivery is free of charge. We deliver to 3 distribution points in Caloundra, Warana and Mooloolaba. If you select this option, further information will be provided with regards to exact location and pick up times.

The food is delivered in a health certified Styrofoam box, complete with ice packs to ensure meals stay cold for up to 4 hours. You can specify a secure area where you would like your delivery to be left when you place your order.

If meals are not delivered for any reason please feel to email us immediately at [email protected]. However we are afraid we can’t accept any responsibility for any stolen meals.

 

Termination / Cancellation Policy

Holding Your Account

If you are going away and need to put your meals on hold, we require notification 72 hours prior to delivery. Deliveries can be put on hold up to a 1 month period. Please send your request to hold to: [email protected]

 

Any holds that exceed a 4 week period, will need to be cancelled. See our cancellation policy below for further details.

 

We need to be notified by the Thursday 3pm before your delivery to put your account on hold. If you miss the Thursday cut off, it means your meals are in preparation for Tuesday’s delivery. If no one will be at your address then you can nominate someone else’s address for this week to ensure that they don’t go to waste.

 

If you want to maintain your subscription whilst on holidays for a week or 2, you are more then welcome to give an alternate friend or family members address for this period. DC eats loving won’t go astray!

 

My work requirements mean I am not home every week

For FIFOs and other jobs that require you to be away from home for work, we cater for you also. We can set you up with a plan that caters for when you are at home and require meals. Contact us to learn more about our flexible meals plans that fit in with your work commitments and lifestyle. If your work schedule changes, please notify us as soon as possible so amendments can be made.

 

Refund Policy

Our menu is based on the public’s general favourite meals and we aim to complete regular reviews and surveys with our customers to gain valuable feedback. We regularly review and alter our menu to align with this feedback.

 

If you are in the position where you do not enjoy our meals we would greatly appreciate your feedback. However, we unfortunately cannot offer refunds in this case. To cancel your meals and provide your feedback please contact [email protected].

 

Please note, we do provide refunds for non-deliveries or damaged goods.
